Take Two Turns Terrestrial

Alerting all UK fans! Michael’s interview footage which gives viewers an additional insight into Martin Bashir’s Granada documentary, is to get its UK terrestrial screening next week.

‘The Michael Jackson Interview: The Footage You Were Never Meant To See’ will be shown on Five on March 3 at 9pm.

The programme was filmed by Michael’s own cameras as Bashir’s programme was being made. It shows Martin Bashir praising Michael and the “spiritual” quality of his Neverland ranch. The reporter is also shown complimenting the star for his generosity and loving relationship with his children.

Michael sold footage of the pair talking, shot by his own camera, to the US Fox network, after claiming the Granada programme, ‘Living With Michael Jackson’, “utterly betrayed” him.

The documentary also contains interviews with supporters of the singer.

It has already been shown in the USA and was screened in the UK on Sky.
