Sax With Mike Appeal

Michael is among a list of stars that have added their signatures to President Clinton’s saxophone, which was presented to him at the 1992 Inaugural Party. Another star to sign the saxophone is Michael’s friend Macaulay Culkin. During his speech at the G&P 2000 Foundation for Cancer Research Gala held on December 9th 2000, Michael said;

“I’m honoured Mr. President to receive this award in your presence, and I wanna, I wanna thank you all, for the years of dedication and service that you’ve rendered to the American people, you’ve been an incredible president and I love you.”

President Clinton thanked Michael in his speech;

“I want to thank the other honourees tonight, for the power of their examples. Michael Jackson, who has been so kind to us, thank you for the wonderful thing you said.”

The saxophone is mounted in a wood case with glass front and mirrored back. You can view this item at Sotheby’s – www.sothebys.com
