New Year’s Eve Bash

Michael’s New Year’s Eve bash in Sydney has been thrown into chaos because the Australian promoter has pulled out. It’s not clear why, although one reason that’s been given is that Sydney airport has a midnight curfew – no aircraft can enter or leave the airport after that time because of noise pollution.

Michael’s camp claim that if Michael can’t leave Sydney immediately after the show, he won’t make it to Honolulu in time to perform his second leg of the Millennium show. That’s all very strange because there IS in fact a flight with an Australian airline that leaves Sydney at 6:30 on New Year’s Day and arrives in Honolulu at 6:50 on New Year’s Eve!
