Michael announced intended plans to build a casino and theme park complex in Detroit called ‘Majestic Kingdom’. He has teamed up with Detroit-area Businessman, Don Barden to build the complex, a proposed combination of a hotel casino, botanical gardens and an amusement park called the ‘Michael Jackson Thriller Theme Park’.
The deal is said to hinge on Barden’s ability to reverse a recent decision by Mayor Dennis Archer and the city council to award casino licenses to three other interested parties.
