Michael won a slander lawsuit yesterday against a freelance writer Victor Gutierrez; the result of a lawsuit he filed in 1995.
“Jurors said that they not only wanted to compensate Mr. Jackson and punish Victor Gutierrez,” said Michael’s lawyer Zia Modabber, “but to send a message that they are tired of tabloids lying about celebrities for money.”
