Michael & Akon Enjoyed The Movies

In 2007, Akon took a trip to the movies with Michael and his three children. He told this story to CNN. ‘Michael loved to play tricks on his fans, and so was wearing a disguise.

When they were on the escalator Akon was recognized and people were asking him for autographs, while Michael stood next to him laughing. Akon obliged but was astonished that nobody knew Michael was standing next to him.

They had recorded ‘Hold My Hand’ together, but that was not released until 2009 after Michael’s death, when it was the first posthumous release from the album ‘MICHAEL.’
