At No. 27, Michael’s ‘Number Ones’ album zips up 156 slots on the chart — the second-biggest leap on the tally (19,000; up 78%,) marking the highest rank for Michael’s 2003 ‘best-of-set,’ since the tally dated Jan. 24, 2004, when it was No. 24. However, it did spend six weeks at No. 1, on the now-defunct Comprehensive Albums chart in 2009, after Michael’s sad demise on June 25th 2009.
