Thrill The World

At Bethlehem YMCA on Saturday, 23rd October, you can join in the attempt on the world record for people everywhere to dance simultaneously to Michael’s ‘Thriller’. The ‘Thrill the World’ event will take place 6-8 p.m. at the Bethlehem YMCA, 430 E. Broad St. The actual dance takes place at 7 p.m. and will be held rain or shine.

Last year, 250 valley zombies filled the parking lot at the Banana Factory at the same moment when 22,571 people in cities around the world all danced to ‘Thriller.’

Anyone interested can take part. There is no cost and dancers are encouraged to dress up as a ghoul or zombie. There will be a rehearsal before the actual dance.

There will be two haunted houses, a ‘The Little Boo Room’ for kids with crafts and pumpkins to decorate and one for older children and adults who want a bigger scare. Outside the YMCA will be a giant movie screen with lights and smoke for spooky atmosphere. Refreshments also will be available.

Pennsylvania Youth Theatre, which is organising the event, is asking for a donation for the activities.
