Destined For Stardom

Mrs Jackson has been interviewed on US television about her book ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’. During the interview, she was asked questions about Michael.

When asked if she had plenty of photographs of Michael and which were her favourites, she replied that she had many and her favourites were of him smiling.

The interviewer then asked when she first noticed that Michael had talent. She replied saying that memory made her smile and explained it was of a very young Michael, so young he was diaper. She was doing the family laundry and Michael was on the floor nearby and the washing machine, which was an old style MayTag, made a certain musical noise as the wash programmes changed. When she looked at Michael, she saw that he was dancing along to the sound, with “perfect timing,” she said. It was then that she knew he would be special.
