Michael Covers

There are some new covers of Michael’s classic songs which are well worth a listen.

The first is jazz musician’s Miles Davis who’s reworking ‘Human Nature.’

Next is guitarist Orianthi, who’s best known for being the intended lead guitarist on the ‘This Is It’ concerts. She gives a rendition of ‘Give In To Me’ from Michael’s 1991 ‘Dangerous’ album.

Canadian singer/songwriter Emm Gryner has done a gentle version of ‘Beat it.’ Graham Parker, on the other hand, seemed determined to keep the lively touch of ‘I Want You Back.’

Lastly, the most popular song for tributes would seem to be ‘Billie Jean’ which country singer, Robbie Fulks, recreates in a spooky manner. However, Quebec’s Lost Fingers have a more generic if high-spirited interpretation of this most famous Michael track. Singer/rapper Aloe Blacc also has done a slow version of the song with is getting him well-deserved attention.
