Alberto Alvarez’ Pain
Tuesday, June 22nd 2010
Alberto Alvarez, one of Michael’s bodyguards, will give vital evidence at the trial of Conrad Murray, as he was present as Michael passed away. Devastated, he now worries whether there was anything more he could have done to help. Alberto says that he watched Conrad Murray stop resuscitation to hide vials of what appeared to be Propofol. In an interview with the Sunday Mirror he said; “I’ve had sleepless nights. I play over in my mind what I could have done differently. I feel terrible about what happened.”
“I want justice for Mr Jackson and will do whatever it takes. When I tell my story, it will be in a court of law.”
Police say Conrad Murray spent thirty minutes trying to revive Michael before seeking help, but rather than calling an ambulance, he left a message on the mobile phone of security chief Michael Amir. Amir immediately called back, then alerted Alberto, who finally dialed 911.
He was later fired by the Jackson family and now struggles to provide for his wife Anna and their young children.
Alberto’s lawyer, Carl Douglas, added; “When the facts are released in front of a jury, I am confident that Mr Alvarez will emerge as the hero of this tragic saga.”
