Lithuanian Sand Sculpture

On May 22nd, the largest sand sculpture of Michael in the world will open to the public in Kaunas Karmelita Place, in Lithuania.
The sculpture is 6.20 metres high and will be part of fifteen enormous size sand sculptures that are built by Olialia
SunSet Sand Akropolis 2010 near the shopping and entertainment centre at Kauno Akropolisâ during the time of the festival. Their height ranges from 2 to 6 metres and more than 500 tons of special sand has been brought from the Rizgoni sand-pit, located in Jonava region, for the statues to be built.
