Oscar winning actor, Russell Crowe, has told GQ magazine that he was a good friend of Michael’s and they would often “prank call” each other. Michael would call him and pretend to be in trouble, but would always admit that it was a prank eventually. He also invited Russell to Neverland, but he didn’t take him up on the offer.

Russell confessed that he had made prank calls since he was a child and had a long history of these calls.
