The Jamaica Observer has named the foremost trailblazers in Black History Month, which celebrates the successes of people who were once enslaved and deprived of privilege.

They name Michael as one such person, saying;
The ‘King of Pop’ and the ‘Greatest Entertainer That Ever Lived’ are just a few names that only scratch the surface of who the legendary Michael Jackson was. From sold out concerts to record breaking album sales, Jackson knew the ins and outs of entertainment with his perfectionist flair and incomparable dance moves. The fact that there is no generation presently who will not know about the Moonwalk King is proof of his greatness.
