According to a report by Variety, Michael’s film version of ‘This Is It’ has earned $18 million in Japan, which accounts for about 25% of worldwide earnings. DVD sales amounted to $11.3 million and Blu-Ray sales amounted to $6.7 million.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that ‘This Is It’ will not be available on discs for rental, but it will run on Pay TV services.
