The city of Los Angeles has been considering the money they spent policing the memorial for Michael on July 7th. The City’s income was increased by over $4 million at the same event, hence the problem in deciding whether or not to recover the money spent, from Michael’s estate.

The UK’s Daily Mirror, among other tabloids, has reported that a Los Angeles resident, Jose Vallejos, has filed a claim against the Jacksons for recovery of the $2 million as a taxpayer. He claims; “the dead singer’s estate benefited illegally from public funds.”
