Michael’s original death certificate issued on July 7th, 2009 by Deputy Coroner Cheryl MacWillie did not specify a cause of death. It has now come to light that on August 31st, 2009, the cause of death on the certificate was amended by medical examiner Christopher Rogers to ‘homicide”. (It is important to understand that this does not necessarily mean that Michael was murdered, meaning that someone intended to kill him).

Rogers concludes that Michael died from “acute Propofol intoxication” due to an “intra-venous injection by another”.

Doctor Murray has hired a criminal lawyer Michael Flanagan, who has experience of defending Propofol cases, in case he is charged over Michael’s death.
