Top Of Billboard Chart

Having sold an incredible 373,000 units, ‘This Is It’ will debut at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart today (November 4th), which makes it the fifth best sales week for an album in the US this year. These figures make it Michael’s best selling album since ‘HIStory’ in 1995, with 391,000 sales.

Michael’s his first No. 1 was ‘Thriller’ in 1983 and he later topped the chart with ‘Bad’, ‘Dangerous’, ‘HIStory’ and ‘Invincible’. Earlier this year, Michael was also No. 1 on the Top Comprehensive Albums and Top Pop Catalog Albums charts with the 2003 greatest hits set ‘Number Ones’.
