James Godfrey and four of his friends will stage a tribute show for Michael in Wrexham on October 24th. The proceeds of the show which will take place at Wrexham’s Memorial Hall, will benefit Cancer Research. (James’s mother died of cancer when he was ten years old. He has been performing for charity as Michael since he was a teenager).

At the tribute show James will be backed by his friends, Amy Woodfine, Sean Griffiths, Linzi Woodcock and Laura Davies.

James said; “I have been performing Michael Jackson songs since I was at school because he was my big hero. I love doing it but up to now I’ve only done charity shows. My aim is to make a career out of doing a tribute act.”
Most of the three hundred tickets for the show have now been sold but there are still a few left at £5.00 each from Wrexham Tourist Information. Doors open at 6.15 p.m. with the show starting at 7.00 p.m.
