When the HIStory tour visited Sydney, Australia, Michael attended the premiere of ‘Ghosts’. When it had finished screening, he threw one of his white crystal gloves to a fan, Bill Hibble, who has since died.

The glove was therefore put up for auction, and the new owner, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas beat five other bidders to secure it at £29,500, or A$57,600.
