The Ruiz family, who were suing Michael and the Marian Center in Santa Maria have now decided to drop their case. The allegations against Michael were dropped in April and the family has now decided not to continue with the case because of the stress it was causing them.

The family were upset that their mother, Manuela Gomez Ruiz, was removed from her hospital room following a heart attack to make the room available for Michael. She died later the same day.
