The family of Manuela Ruiz, a patient who died in hospital in Santa Maria, have re-filed the lawsuit against Michael, the Marian Medical Center and Catholic Healthcare West.

It was alleged that Mrs.Ruiz was moved from her room to make way for Michael while she was in a critical condition and on life support, and her treatment was delayed. She died later the same day.

The reason it has been re-filed was not given and a trial date has not yet been set.
