Sony/ATV Music Publishing Grows

Martin Bandier, the new CEO and Chairman of Sony/ATV Publishing announced the purchase of the Lieber Stoller song catalogue, which contains many great and memorable top forty hits.

Mr Bandier says that he loves the songs which are “gems that help define American Music”, and is looking forward to working with these prolific writers.

In response to this purchase Michael said; “I am delighted that we were able to acquire the Leiber Stoller catalogue. The songs of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller have defined an era, and the artists who have recorded their work reads like a who’s who of rock and roll.”

Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller are also pleased that Sony/ATV will be the new home of their music. They are members of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the Songwriters Hall Of Fame and the Record Producer’s Hall Of Fame.
