On August 21st, 2009, Michael Jackson Tribute Artist and Performer, Prince Gritty, made his presence known and felt at the 2nd Annual Community Resource Day, held at O, Donoghue Park, located in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York.
The event, was sponsored by the NYPD ( New York Police Department), 101st Police Precint, PAL (Police Athletic League). Prince Gritty graciously  took photos with NYPD police officers, members of various community based organizations, teens, youths, and as well as citizens of the Far Rockaway community.
In addition to meet and greet, Prince Gritty, provided a delightful treat, when he performed to Michael Jackson’s hit songs ” You Rock My World” and ” Remember The Time” with fellow Hail To The King -Tribute To Michael Jackson back-up dancer, Taylor Brandon. This event was Prince Gritty’s second formal public appearance since untimely death of Michael Jackson. The crowd went into a frenzy upon seeing Prince Gritty, and couldn’t get enough of his presence. Â
Prince Gritty’s aura and dynamic presence caused a young lady, with a young child, to fall to the ground, whom Prince Gritty assisted to get back upon her feet.  Performing at the 2nd Annual Community Resource Day, provided Prince Gritty with the opportunity to honour Michael’s humanitarian legacy of giving back to the community.
